The Environmental Water and Renewable Alliance (EWWA) is proud to be operational across more than thirteen
African nations, with a vision and mission that transcend borders, bringing sustainable water, renewable
energy, and environmental solutions to the most vulnerable and underserved communities. From the lush green
landscapes of Uganda to the arid plains of Sudan, from the remote islands of Seychelles to the bustling
urban centers of Kenya and Tanzania, our reach extends across diverse geographies, cultures, and ecosystems.
This diversity challenges us to innovate, adapt, and tailor our interventions to each community’s unique needs,
while maintaining the same unwavering commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and long-term impact.
In Uganda, Sudan, South Sudan, Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Botswana, Seychelles, Djibouti,
and even through collaborations within the European Union, EWWA builds partnerships that matter. We work hand-in-hand
with local governments to design and implement policies that encourage sustainability, and we partner with
community-based organizations to ensure that every project is tailored to meet the unique needs of the people
it serves. By involving local voices in the planning process, we create initiatives that not only address
immediate needs but also build long-term resilience.
Our projects span a diverse range of focus areas: from introducing clean, solar-powered energy systems in rural schools and clinics, to installing water purification systems that eliminate waterborne diseases, to restoring degraded lands through climate-smart agriculture practices. Every initiative is guided by data, innovation, and the understanding that real progress comes from empowering people with tools, knowledge, and opportunities.
Beyond delivering projects, EWWA invests heavily in capacity-building and education. We train local youth in
renewable energy installation, water system maintenance, and environmental stewardship—ensuring that the next
generation is not only able to maintain current systems but also innovate and improve upon them. We believe
in creating local champions who will continue the mission long after initial projects are completed.
Our work is urgent. Climate change is intensifying droughts, floods, and other extreme events that threaten
livelihoods. Environmental degradation is eroding the very foundations of food and water security. Yet,
there is hope—and it lies in collective action. We invite governments, corporations, individuals, and
institutions to join us in expanding our reach and deepening our impact. Together, we can create a future
where communities thrive, ecosystems flourish, and no one is left behind.
